Parking lot sweeping is a pivotal service for preventative maintenance. GTA Winters with salt, debris, gravel and sand being pushed around the parking lot will wreak havoc for the asphalt.
Parking lot sweeping involves more than just a mechanical sweeper truck or machine driving around the parking lot with brooms. A parking lot owner will want to be more aggressive in the maintenance than just that to prevent any asphalt cracks, or asphalt potholes. All corners, truck bays, curbs and around light posts will need to be blown or swept out into the middle of the parking lot. The vast majority of debris in the parking lot will be in these places, where the snowplow either pushed the snow, or cannot reach with the snowplow.
Preventative Maintenance: All that debris will cause weeds to grow along the curblines as well as in truck bays. This is not only an eye sore, but a liability when the maintenance team comes to maintain the property.
